A team of media from ECOWAS had a working visit to NANTS to underscore the secrets behind NANTS successful implementation of regional projects such as the ECOWAS Safety Net project for the empowerment of Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) financed by the Spanish Agency for International Cooperation (AECID).
Selected beneficiaries are still recounting the success stories and impacts of the project on their lives and livelihoods. it is heartwarming to note and hear from them that some of them have bought lands, started building their own houses, many have sent back their wards to school, they all pay their bills now and seek to live a modest life. For these beneficiaries, the days of begging and relying on philanthropists is over. With the huge harvest courtesy of the project, they all remain eternally grateful to NANTS, ECOWAS and AECID.

For us in NANTS, we express our appreciation to the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (FMARD), the Federal Capital Territory, the Ministry of Finance, Budget and National Planning as well as the National Seed Council for all their support. Together we shall surely pull many out of the poverty bracket.
