United Nations Institutes for Training and Research (UNitar) in Collaboration with Norwegian Embassy and the Nigeria Federal Ministry of Transportation organized a 4-Day Seminar on Collaborative Leadership for key Stakeholders in Nigeria at Abuja.
The Collaborative leadership is central to the transformation required to realize the vision of the SDG 17 Agenda of the United Nations and the immediate strategies to reduce Carbon emission by 25% in 2023.
Mr. Ayo Omowu, highlighted the UN definition of Collaboration as a voluntary relationship between various parties in which all participants agree to work together to achieve a common purpose or undertake to achieve a common purpose or undertake a specific task and to share risks, responsibilities, resources, competences and benefits.
Dr. Ken Ukaoha, NANTS President shared is experiences on the need to pull strength, idea and our resources together to collaborate and achieve the action plan through logistics management, managing of transportation across trade arena and to sustain the Maritime transport system.
