The National Association of Nigerian Traders (NANTS) has announced its official vacation for the Christmas season, with all activities set to resume on January 8, 2025. In a warm and cheerful message, the organization extended its heartfelt wishes to its staff, partners, and stakeholders, wishing them a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year.
This announcement came during NANTS’ end-of-year meeting held with its staff, where the association reflected on the year’s achievements and outlined its plans for the future. The President of NANTS took the opportunity to express profound gratitude to God for the successes recorded in 2024. He also acknowledged and commended the efforts of the staff, whose unwavering dedication and hard work have been instrumental in advancing the organization’s mission of promoting the welfare and interests of Nigerian traders.
In his speech, the NANTS President highlighted the accomplishments of the organization throughout the year. He described 2024 as a year filled with significant milestones, including the successful completion of key projects that have positively impacted the Nigerian trade sector.
“This year has been remarkable for NANTS,” the President stated. “We have not only implemented impactful projects but also strengthened our partnerships and expanded our reach. For this, we owe God all the glory and appreciation.”
The President also emphasized the critical role played by NANTS staff in achieving these successes. “To our staff, I say a big thank you. Your hard work, resilience, and commitment have been the backbone of our progress. Without your collective efforts, these achievements would not have been possible,” he said.
The meeting served as an opportunity for reflection and celebration. Staff members were encouraged to take a well-deserved break during the holiday season to rejuvenate and prepare for the year ahead.
As NANTS prepares to resume operations on January 8, 2025, the organization has already begun to lay the groundwork for the new year. According to the President, 2025 will be a year of building on the successes of 2024 and embarking on new projects aimed at furthering the association’s mission.
“Our vision for 2025 is clear,” he stated. “We aim to deepen our impact, forge stronger collaborations, and create more opportunities for Nigerian traders to thrive. Together, we will achieve even greater heights.”
NANTS also plans to intensify its advocacy for policies that benefit Nigerian traders, strengthen its capacity-building initiatives, and explore innovative solutions to address challenges in the trade sector.
In the spirit of the festive season, NANTS extended its best wishes to all its partners, stakeholders, and staff. The President’s Christmas message emphasized the importance of unity, gratitude, and hope.
“As we celebrate this Christmas, let us remember the true essence of the season – love, sharing, and thanksgiving. I encourage everyone to cherish this time with their loved ones and reflect on the blessings of the year,” he said.
NANTS also expressed appreciation to its partners and stakeholders for their continued support and collaboration. The association reaffirmed its commitment to fostering mutually beneficial relationships that drive growth and development in Nigeria’s trade sector.
The end-of-year meeting was not only a time to celebrate achievements but also a moment of spiritual reflection. The NANTS President led the staff in a session of thanksgiving, acknowledging God’s faithfulness and provision throughout the year.
“It is important to recognize that all our achievements are by God’s grace,” he remarked. “We are grateful for the strength and wisdom He has given us to navigate the challenges of this year and come out stronger.”
As NANTS goes on its Christmas vacation, the association encouraged its staff to use the break as a time for rest and rejuvenation. The President emphasized the importance of work-life balance and urged everyone to return in January with renewed energy and focus.
“Take this time to relax, recharge, and spend quality time with your families,” he advised. “When we return in January, we will hit the ground running, ready to achieve even more together.”
The National Association of Nigerian Traders remains steadfast in its commitment to empowering Nigerian traders and advancing economic growth. As the year comes to a close, NANTS celebrates the achievements of 2024 while looking forward to an even more impactful 2025.
With activities resuming on January 8, 2025, NANTS is poised to continue its work in supporting traders, advocating for favorable policies, and driving development in the trade sector.
From everyone at NANTS, we wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
