AGRICULTURE-USAID MARKETS II CASSAVA VALUE CHAIN PROJECT - The National Association of Nigerian Traders NANTS

CASSAVA VALUE CHAIN PROJECT NANTS is currently implementing the second phase of the USAID MARKETS II Cassava Value chain Project. The first phase was implemented in 2014/2015. The main deliverable of this current project is the training and management of 3,000 farmers on best agronomic practices in cassava to increase farm productivity.

 The project location is in FCT Abuja. Linkages to market are also provided for the farmers.  NANTS has worked on other value chains in partnership with USAID MARKETS II. These apart from cassava include rice and aquaculture. The successful outcome of the projects has been encouraging and attracted further projects of like nature to NANTS.
