NANTS Evaluation of the One Year of Buhari’s Administration: Urging the Government on, in Spite Of Economic Hick-Ups - The National Association of Nigerian Traders NANTS

NANTS notes that it is now one year since President Muhammadu Buhari led All Progressive Congress (APC) took over the reins of power from the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) after 16 years. Our evaluation of the past one year of this present administration is that it has been characterized by many hitches which we rather prefer to excuse as symptomatic of a study period. We note however that the vision of change for the country has not fully materialised as President Buhari is currently facing the grim reality of the challenge before his administration, having previously underestimated the level of rot in the nation’s economy.
